Permit me to introduce myself.
I am Chris King, a Banbury based entertainer.
Who began in 1977, designing and building my own stage lighting for bands and doing the supporting mobile disco, then things started to grow and grow…
The hobby became my profession!
I found myself working all over the country supplying top quality music and lighting, supporting name bands like Shakatak and Vanity Fayre.
I have even DJ’d on a boat down the river Thames ( Thank you Dave Seamer Entertainments ).
I have compered for live events like Orange corporate days and monster truck shows.
In 2006 I was invited by Bicester Town Council to bring my disco and compere/DJ the Garth Park Grand Finale concert in Bicester.
In 2010 I was happy to compère the Bicester Charity Carnival…which was nice.
Recent years have seen me being asked back time and again to some lovely venues like Heythrop Park nr. Chipping Norton, The Crown at Charlton-On-Otmoor, The Horse and Jockey in Banbury and The Ex-Servicemans Club in Bicester.
I enrolled on The Lisa Lashes School of Music where we were taught DJ skills, music production and marketing skills. She is an amazing famous UK lady DJ who believes in helping others to achieve their potential.
I present a high quality mobile road-show for the military, pubs, clubs, hotels, weddings, house parties, corporate events, festivals etc. etc.
To say that I am obsessed by music would be putting it mildly.
I am driven by its power to bring us together.
